Frank Bergmann
Clinical Psychologist
Frank is a registered clinical psychologist and specialises in the treatment and prevention of a range of psychological and general health problems affecting adolescents, adults, couples and families. He is an excellent psychologist with a gentle and thoughtful therapeutic style.
Frank has a keen interest in personal growth and development and has helped individuals to enhance interpersonal skills and the ability to form and maintain healthy relationships. His areas of interest include the treatment of grief and loss, depression, adjustment and emotional difficulties.
He has worked as a unit manager in a large government psychiatric hospital, lectured at universities, supervised intern and postgraduate psychologists and has assisted on university psychology selection panels. Frank has 10 years experience in private practice and works using a wide range of therapeutic frameworks and techniques based on respect and acceptance. Frank is Eligible for Membership of the APS College of Clinical Psychology.

Dr Melissa Taylor
Clinical Psychologist
Melissa is a registered psychologist with a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate Degree in Forensic Psychology. She has over 10 years experience in the field of psychology in both government and private practice arenas. Originally from South Australia, she has worked in New South Wales and now Queensland.
Melissa has extensive experience in clinical psychology and the assessment and treatment of a ranger of psychological disorders, in particular mood disorders (anxiety and depression) affecting adolescents and adults. She is dedicated to improving the well-being of individuals to enhance their quality of life, and utilises a range of therapies to achieve this end. Melissa is a well-regarded and actively sought after therapist.
Melissa has presented original research at international conferences and maintains an on-going commitment to professional development. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society’s College of Clinical Psychologists and is eligible for membership of the College of Forensic Psychologists.

Shay Addison
Psychologist
Shay has considerable experience working as a psychologist in a variety of different contexts in both Australia and England. Shay enjoys working collaboratively in helping individuals manage a range of life difficulties, including those individuals struggling with depression and anxiety and also individuals with eating disorder and body image difficulties, anger and relationship problems. Shay is a warm and engaging person with excellent therapeutic skills who utilises a strength-based approach to assist individuals overcoming their difficulties and strive forward in life.
Prior to working at Your Psychology Clinic Shay was working in England with clients with complex needs. She has developed, implemented and evaluated systems relating to behavioural performance. She has presented clinical work at international conferences, has a keen interest in research and is currently completing her PhD.

Dr Lars Madsen
Clinical Psychologist/Director
Lars is the founder and director of ‘Your Psychology Clinic’. He has over 10 years experience working as a psychologist in both the United Kingdom and Australia. In this time, he has worked with individuals to address a range of difficulties and problems, in both community and hospital settings. Lars has particular experience in working with anxiety (generalised anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder), trauma and sexual dysfunction and behaviour problems. He enjoys working with individuals in a holistic manner, and endeavors to provide therapy that allows the individual to gain skills and knowledge that assist them with enhancing their quality of life.
Lars completed his Master degree in Clinical Psychology in Australia before obtaining a Ph.D. in psychology at University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in England. Prior to working at Your Psychology Clinic he worked within the National Health Service in England with clients with complex needs. Lars has specific experience providing psychological reports for criminal and civil courts and has published research in academic journals as well as presented at international conferences. He is a member of the APS College of Clinical and Forensic Psychologists.

Michelle Wigg
Officer Manager
Michelle has significant experience in general office management, and deals with the day-to-day administration and marketing requirements of your psychology clinic. Her broad office management knowledge, and her professional and friendly manner, add excellent value to the your psychology clinic team.
Michelle is from Chile, where she enjoyed a career in customer services and marketing, before settling in Brisbane with her family in 2008.
